For the current 2022–2023 Bundesliga season, German club BVB Dortmund and their uniform provider unveiled a limited-edition jersey. “Kohle + Stahl Sondertrikot” (Coal + Steel Special-Edition Kit) is the name of the item.

The club’s second recent black-out uniform is the Puma Dortmund 2022–2023 special shirt. A fan-favorite limited-edition blackout jersey was made available in 2019–20.

The Dortmund 22-23 special jersey has the club crest and monochrome anthracite, shimmering graphics on a black base. The kit features a subdued tone pattern portraying coal and steel.
Anthracite is used for the kit font on the Dortmund 2022–2023 special edition black-out uniform, completing the outstanding appearance.
