With a nod to the iconic manager of The Reds, Bill Shankly, Liverpool FC has recently announced its new home uniform for the 2023–24 football season.

The new uniform, which commemorates the 50 years since the Scotsman led the team to the FA Cup victory in his final season in charge, incorporates the traditional Liverpool red with a white collar and cuffs. The Hillsborough Memorial insignia and eternal flames are printed on the nape of the neck of the 1973–1974–inspired uniform.

The men’s team will wear the new uniform for the first time on May 20 against Aston Villa in their final season-ending game as they attempt to qualify for the Champions League.
