The Blues will play their first round two encounter since August 23 at 7:45 p.m., and this will be their 100th League Cup game at Stamford Bridge, where they have a 64% winning percentage in the previous 99 games.
Having carried the trophy to Stamford Bridge five times, Chelsea has the distinction of being the capital’s inaugural champion. However, the team has not won since 2015, the longest drought since 1998.
