The Nike-designed away shirt takes back early 2000s memories with its gold base color and dark navy insignia.
However, it is meant to pay homage to a different time in the 1990s, more especially the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.
As a result, the new shirt’s color and sleeve pattern were motivated by gold medals from the summer sporting event. 30 years after a great tournament season altered people’s perceptions of Barcelona for all time.
The colors of the five Olympic rings are displayed on the socks and sleeve cuffs of the uniform.

A delicate design that depicts a map of the city of Barcelona is another intriguing element. The shirt’s design depicts the layout of the Catalan capital, one of Europe’s most famous tourist attractions, and shows the Avenida Diagonal running across the top of the city center as well as various grids of apartment towers in the affluent L’Eixample neighborhood.
