The men’s squad will wear the new uniform for the first time in today’s preseason game against Manchester United in Bangkok, so fans won’t have to wait long to see it in action.

A bold white block stands out on the reverse to draw attention to how unique each player’s name and number are. The shirt’s whirling design is grounded with a black sleeve cuff.

The 97 logo, which is encircled by the Eternal Flames and is proudly displayed at the nape of the neck in honor of the children, adults, and seniors who lost their life at Hillsborough, is also featured on the back of the jersey. This season, the number is changed from 96 to 97 in honor of Andrew Stanley Devine, who was the 97th person to die inexplicably as a result of the Hillsborough tragedy.
